A minority of us in the USA do not believe in invading weaker countries to further enrich our ruling clique of oil and weapons billionaires; nor do we support our 50 year old policy of financing and installing dictators like Saddam Hussein, the Shah of Iran and the Taliban to create environments for weapons sales by our billionaires.
We apologise to the families of the 300,000 Iraqis who died in our 1990 Iraq invasion, and to the 600,000 who according to UNESCO, died of starvation under our 12 years of sanctions. We understand the USA employed Saddam Hussein to initiate the Iran Iraq proxy war to regain control of Iran, and we apologise to the 1 million Iraqis and Iranians who died while we sold weapons to both sides under the Iran Contra affair.
We admit enticing Saddam Hussein into Kuwait by selling slant drilling equipment to Kuwait and installing it to drain oil from Iraq's Rumallah oilfield, and then advising Saddam to reclaim his rights with an invasion. We apologise for re-installing Kuwait's dictator instead of allowing a democracy.
We would like to thank the Iraqi and Iranian people: In the face of our deadly warmongering, you never retaliated against our country, a restraint we could never emulate.
We ask forgivness for the 2 million Afghanis who died and the 6 million made homeless since we financed the Taliban, Osama bin Laden and AlQaeda with $3 billion of our taxdollars in 1980, and the 60,000 who have died since we invaded Afghanistan two years ago.
We are embarrassed that our Vice President controls a vast weapons and oil company, Haliburton ($30 billion war contracts in Iraq to date and counting, and also owns Devonport nuclear Dockyard in the UK) but more embarrassed that our President and his family have been business partners of the bin Laden's for three decades, and jointly own a large weapons company, the Carlyle Group, with the bin Ladens. Our President refused to allow an investigation into 9/11. He was the principal beneficiary of that bombing and connected to the supposed perpetrators. In the absence of his resignation an investigation at the time was vital to clear his name, which will now forever be suspect. It is also troubling that both the Vice President and President's families are making billions from these wars through their oil and weapons companies.
And finally we apologise for the 20,000 Iraqis who died in this, our second invasion of Iraq, and admit the blatantly obvious, namely that the world's massive arsenals of WMD are in the USA, not Iraq. God Bless America.
(We will firstly be accused of not supporting our troops. May we say that we do not believe sending troops to a foreign country, to be killed by a regime we created, is supporting them. We want to bring them home to safety, which is what we understand by support. Supporting the troops would be to not create the regime in the first place.
